We are Andy and Lindsey Holderread. We live in Alabama. I(Lindsey) have lived here her entire life, my wonderful husband Andy is from Northern Indiana. We have two bubbling little boys. They are Jameson(6) and Jonah is (5). We attend a local church and love it very much. Our church is our family. We are active in the church. I clean sometimes and Andy helps in our truck stop and county jail ministry. We have started the homeschooling journey just this year and we are so thankful to have this privilege. We love God and his Word with all our hearts and want nothing more than to serve the Lord and be in His will.
I (Lindsey) had a tubal ligation surgery after Jonah our youngest was born in 2011. I was a very young Christian and didn't consult God about this major decision. I have had 1,000 regrets about this bad decision, but have at the same time learned so much and grown so much. First I found out that I had hurt my temple, and sinned against the God that had saved me. God made, us and He never makes mistakes. One night I was so heavy about this awful choice I had made. I was sorrowful for the sin I had committed. I came crying to Andy and he told him that I was wrong and wanted a change. At this time God knew I had a repentant heart. Andy and I talked and decided we needed to get a reversal. We didn't know how God would provide, our faith would soon be increased. I was researching different doctors and prices. I had found a very unique ministry that was called The Lord's Heritage. We really fell in love with this ministry and how God was working through the servants team. Our fund became complete in November of 2014 and we had our reversal in March of 2015. We are now trusting in God that His perfect will be done in our lives. We love Him and praise Him for the blessing of being whole again. We are undeserving of all of this mercy he has shown us. So this is where we are now in our journey. We have both learned so much and grown spiritually through all of this.
We are so happy to have the honor and privelage to serve and help our brothers and sisters who are on the wonderful journey to becoming whole again. The Lord's Heritage has been such a blessing to us in so many ways we hope we can give back a little. So Lord here is our basket, out prayer is to be used of Him. We pray we are an encouragement to anyone seeking God's will in their lives.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5&6
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca maketh it a well. The rain also filleth the pools. Psalm 84:5&6..........The valley of Baca means the valley of weeping. Although you may be weeping or sorrowful for your bad decision of sterilization, God can make it a well for you to draw out of for spiritual growth.
Trusting in Him,
Andy and Lindsey Holderread
